Farewell, A Farixa!
2nd September 2024, a new school year is starting, and the day has come for me to say goodbye… Yesterday was the first day of a new stage in my life… I’m not an English teacher at CIFP A Farixa anymore; I’m retired.
After so many years teaching, more than 35, A Farixa represents a special journey of more than 20 years, which is most of my working life so, although I’m excited about this new beginning, I’m also experiencing this mixture of feelings…
I’m not an early bird, you know so, I’m not going to miss getting up early, of course! Besides, we all know that at the beginning of the school year we’re always under a little bit of pressure, aren’t we? I’m not worried about that this year!
However, I also feel that I’d like to welcome the 2024 - 2025 academic year, not with a welcome message as I used to do, but with this farewell. I’ll always think of you, alumni, and colleagues — those still working, and those who already retired — with great affection.
Thank you for everything and best wishes to each and everyone of you!
